Burgundy 2006: Domaine Michel Briday

Never have we seen such a change in any estate as the next generation takes over. Stephane has been a revelation and this is one of our proudest finds in Burgundy. Just as Michel built the domaine up from 6 to 15 hectares, Stephane has both defined the styles of their great wines and made this a true competitor on the the international fine wine stage.
Price Per Case (in bond)
Rully Rouge les 4 Vignes 2006, Domaine Michel Briday £99.00
Rully Rouge 1er Cru Champs Cloux 2006, Domaine Michel Briday £115.00
Rully 1er Cru Gresigny 2006, Domaine Michel Briday £125.00
This is a much fresher example, more like a Puligny with it's mineral acids and citrus fruit. With 20% new wood, and that at fairly high toast, there is a balancing toasty cream depth to this white. White peach, citrus and apricot with a twist of refreshing mineral acidity. Classy! 2008 to 2012.
