Château Richard Bergerac Sec 2007The ProducerRichard Doughty’s mother is French and father is English. In 1989 he joined them to found his own, organic domaine at la Croix Blanche. The property virtually borders St Emilion and parts of vineyard mimic the best areas of Sauternes. His sweet wine are from Saussignac, formerly a pert of Monbazillac. Richard is an individualist, living the “Good Life” and producing wines of character. Witness the amazing and unusual, unfiltered white wine.The WineThe organically grown and produced dry white from Richard Doughty is a great all rounder. Using Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and a splash of Muscadelle, Richard conjures up a crisp, grassy, citrus driven dry white that is pure and juicy.
