Chateau le Pey 2004, Cru Bourgeois MedocCommended by Decanter magazine in its World Wine Awards the 2003 Le Pey was a gem. The beautiful Merlot driven 2004 similarly has a lovely aroma of ripe plums and blackcurrants but possesses perhaps slightly more perfume and fragrance from this more classical vintage. Good medium to full body with ripe tannins supporting the overall structure of the wine. Nice length. Drink from 2008 to 2012.
