Undoubtedly the most highly reputed négociant in the Loire, Paul Buisse has brought a fine touch of flair to a firm handed down from father to son since 1905. Crucially for us, the empire began with a small domaine, still cultivated with consummate care. From here comes one of Touraine’s finest Sauvignons.

The Wine

The original and personal parcel of vines of successful negociant, Paul Buisse, produce a wonderfully aromatic and fresh sauvignon blanc. Dry and grapey rather that green and nettly this makes an ideal summer luncheon or party white. Fine and intense nose of Sauvignon Blanc – gooseberries, nettles, citrus and even some elderflower. Bracing tastes with some complexity for a wine of this quality. Altogether balanced and very good in its class.
