Domaine de Chevalier 2005, Pessac Léognan
65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Far and away the best of the more modest Graves. Soft red with some opacity, gentle, red berry nose with hints of flint and slate. The palate is silky, seductive and even aromatic. This will be difficult to hold on to for more than 6 years or so as it's so good. Naturally fine.
Single Bottle: £45.00
In a case of 12: £42.75
