With 40 hectares of vineyards centred around The famous Martinenga vineyard where they have 11 hectares of Nebbiolo this estate produces fine wines with great elegance and finesse as well as beautiful balance. Their flagship Barbaresco from Martinenga of world renown has two sub plots called Camp Gros and Guiun producing ultra fine wines with subtle complex flavours of funghi, tobacco and herbs and leather. Martininenga,s vineyards are consicered to be one of the greatest single vineyards dedicated to the production of Barbareso with a near ideal southern exposure and favourable micro climate. The estate owned by Alberto di Gresy also has The Monte Aribaldo vineyard just two kilometers from Martinenga and this is where fine Dolcetto. Sauvignon and Chardonnay are produced.

The Wine

Piemonte's answer to Sancerre! A crisp, mineral laden white with delicate cut grass and gooseberry notes and hints of pear on the finish. Elegant, classy, great! What more can we say about this wine other than its very affordable in comparison to other Northern Italian Sauvignons at the same quality level.
