Pouilly Fume Les Roches 2007, Guy Saget (6)Just 1.5 hectare of vineyard facing the Loire and with a slope of 8%. The soil is mostly limestone and the Sauvignon fruit is hand picked, cool fermented and fined but not filtered. The result is a delicate, yet exotic fruit wine that develops well in the first few years of its life and so we like to hold stock for 18 months after release. Presented in an unusually solid bottle!
