Vina Echeverria Carmenere Reserve 2005, Central Valley (6)The ProducerVina Echeverria is a long astablished Chilean family owned and managed estate winery. Its vineyards and winery are located in the outskirts of the town of Molina, Curico Valley, the wine heartland of Chile. Vina Echeverria only processes its own single vineyard grapes with a commitment to quality attainable in a truly family enterprise.The WineLush sweet soft Carmenere from some of the estates best and oldest vines. The reserve spends a little longer in oak. The wine is garnet red with violet hints. Extremely rich and velvety, this attractive wine combines intense aromas of ripe cherries and black berries, with hints of red berll peppers, dried fruits and exotic spices. Smooth and full bodied, it has a round and delicate texture with delicate oak hints from barrel aging.
