This Montmains from Faiveley has notes of lime and liquid minerals evoking thoughts of crushed limestone, wafts of sea spray over barnacle-encrusted rocks, and freshly cracked oyster shells. On the palate there is wonderful chalky citrus intensity, stony spice, and an acidity backbone that will certainly benefit from 2 years further bottle aging. Drink now to 2016+.
