Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes 1997Typical and perhaps more mature to the eye, fairly deep gold with tints of lime green, and very brilliant. There is an exceptional weight of fruit, balanced by some structure and a dash of acidity. It reminded me of lime marmalade! This is sumptuous, plump, round and very well put together sweet wine. I suspect it will vie with Rieussec for top spot.
