The name of the winery is taken from the volcanic hill where most of the vineyards are located. The wines have great minerality and depth, very good complexity and touches of exotic fruit and white flowers. They are considered to be one of the top wineries in the Soave region.The WineThe 2008 Soave from Ca Rugate reveals gorgeous balance in its honeysuckle, white flowers, ripe apricots and honey dry palate. The wine possesses tons of inner perfume and impeccable balance, with a long, fresh, refined finish. This is a terrific effort. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2012+
