Domaine Frapin 20 ans d'age Cognac 1979 (37.5cl Bottle) (6)The ProducerSince 1270, in the heart of the GRANDE CHAMPAGNE, premier cru of the Cognac region, the Frapin family, vine growers and distillers for generations, owns the largest single vineyard in GRANDE CHAMPAGNE, the domaine FRAPIN, which covers 300 hectares of which 200 planted with ugniblanc vines.The WineThis superb range of Cognacs comes from one of the most impressive estates in the region. Domaine Frapin has at its heart the fabulous Chateau Fontpinot which lies at the centre of the three hundred hectare estate, the largest single vineyard in Grande Champagne. The whole range is 100% Grande Champagne, making the VSOP and the VS the only ones widely available that can make this claim. Chatea Fontpinot, which is between 18 and 20 years of age, is delicate with a floral bouquet and a hint of rancio. This vintage example exemplifies this floral character.
