Cognac Frapin is a unique Cognac house in many ways. At its heart is the beautiful Chateau Fontpinot which is surrounded by three hundred hectares of prime vineyards in the Grande Champagne, the very finest area in the Cognac region near the town of Segonzac. The business is family owned , at its head Max Cointreau who has in his time owned Cointreau and Krug Champagne but now owns just Frapin and Champagne Gosset ! All the fruit is sourced exclusively from their own vineyards and distilled and aged at their own properties. From the basic V.S upwards these Cognacs have a real purity of fruit and good complexity, I highly recommend them to you. This V.S.O.P has an average age of 8 years greater than the minimum for X,O ! It has a golden amber colour beatifully rounded and gentle with an excellent floral nose and fruity palate.
