Frapin Chateau Fontpinot XO Grande Champagne (6)

Cognac Frapin is a unique Cognac house in many ways. At its heart is the beautiful Chateau Fontpinot which is surrounded by three hundred hectares of prime vineyards in the Grande Champagne the very finest area in the Cognac region. The business is owned by Max Cointreau who has in his time owned Cointreau and Krug but now owns just Frapin and Champagne Gosset ! All the fruit is sourced from their own vineyards exclusively and distilled and aged at their own properties. From the basic V.S upwards these Cognacs have a real purity of fruit and good complexity. I highly recommend them to you. Of the whole Cognac Frapin range perhaps my favourite Cognac.. XO cognac legally may be as little as six years old but Chateau Fontpinot is drawn from barrels between eighteen and twenty years of age. Also unlike many better known names which have an older heavier syrup style due to the legal addition of caramel and sugar syrup this is dry, fragrant and fresh on the nose with a long finish.

Single Bottle: £105.00
In a case of 12: £99.75
