Chateau Beausejour Duffau Lagarosse 2001, Saint Emilion Grand Cru70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is not only a wonderful expression of the fine Merlot vintage but also a fine example of the concept of Terroir. Year after year this small area of land seems to produce heady, blackberry and blueberry fruits that is in perfect balance with its fine acidity and ripe tannin. Excellent and will drink weel for two decades.
