Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Secret 2000, Domaine Roger SabonNewly renovated cellars on the outskirts of the town hide a wine making history that can be traced back to 1560. Indeed the tendrils of the Sabon family are now clinging to no fewer than five important domaines in Chateauneuf. Though it has cleaned up its act in recent years, this domaine remains rooted in tradition, preferring to express the vagaries of the terroir and the range of varieties rather branching into new oak and pure varieties.
