Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2003, PauillacThere's been a minor regime change here that seems odd given the recent success. However the wine remains way above its fifth growth status. This year it has charm, elegance and even aromatic qualities quite unlike its neighbours and more like a Margaux perhaps. Silky structure and likely to be enjoyable over a period as broad as 2007 to 2017+. A classy statistic in itself me thinks!
