Chateau Lafaurie Peyruguey Bommes 200390% Semillon and 5% each of Sauvignon and Muscadelle. This is another rich example with relative low botrytis. Certainly one of the front runners and I choose it for two further reasons. First, there is more solid acidity to balance such ripeness and second there is a delicious, aromatic finish that I suspect comes from the ripeness of Muscadelle. More evidence that M Pauli and his team continue to rise above the competition.
