Chateau Sociando Mallet 2003, MargauxCru Bourgeois estates do not get better than this. They have produced a spectacular wine from an extraordinary vintage. It is deep purple in coloured which hints at the concentration and complexity of flavour that follows : blackberries, raspberries, floral hints, white spice. A powerful, forward drinking wine that can be enjoyed now or left to improve. Robert Parker awarded it 94 points. Drink 2008 to 2018.
