Chateau Pontet Canet 2004, Pauillac
Opaque, deep and bright red/purple. Some intensity of cassis, tobacco and perhaps floral notes of Cabernet Franc (though there is little more than 5% in the blend). Sweet, black fruits with well integrated, ripe tannins, zippy acidity and a delicious, cool finish that seems to build in flavour and complexity. Very fine and with a wide drinking window from 2008 to 2020.
Single Bottle: £45.00
In a case of 12: £42.75
