Handford Wines

This brand new project of extraordinary scale and quality occupies a sweeping valley in the Ribera Alta sub region of DO Navarra next to Rioja. With a state of the art winery using both native Spanish vine varieties, and traditional french varieties, the two red wines they procduce are lovely soft ripe perfumed wines of instant appeal at sensible prices.

The Wine

A fine blend of 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet, 10% Grenache and 5% Syrah aged in both french and American oak. Delicious black fruit flavours with finesse and good intergated us of oak. Modern but still shows its Spanish pedigree.
