Barbeito Verdelho Frasqueira 1981 (50cl Bottle) (6)The small Madeira house of Barbeito was founded in 1946. It quickly established the best vineyards and cellars on the island and a range the envy of competitors. Since Ricardo de Freitas took the helm of the family in 1991 he has concentrated on recreating authentic old styles of Madeira completely naturally aged in casks by the Canteiro method, some of which are put to age in the loft of the family house.
