Gewurztraminer Cuvee de Signeurs de Ribeaupierre Alsace 2000, F.E. Trimbach (6)The ProducerBased in beautiful Ribeauvillé, the house of Trimbach was established in 1626. Pierre takes charge of wine making and brother, Jean Trimbach, who has kindly hosted tastings for us in the past, looks after the marketing. All aspects of the business are overseen by the family and the jewel I the crown is one of my favourite white wines, Riesling Clos Ste. Hune.The WineSuper concentrated wine from Trimbach old vine Gewurz. Lovely fresh leechies and honey, rose petal and pot pourri fragrance. A serious wine for serious Gewurz lovers.
