Emilio Lustau San Emilio Pedro Ximenez, JerezThe ProducerThe original company was founded in 1896 by Don José Ruiz-Berdejo as an almacenista (a moorish word for warehouse or stockholder), i.e. a small, traditional family business producing and ageing sherries. In the 1940s, his son-in-law Don Emilio Lustau Ortega expanded the business while keeping its role as an almacenista. Lustau's own solera system, based on stocks begun at Lustau's inception as an almacenista itself at the turn of the century.The WineCrisp fresh Manzanilla at its best, with a lovely salty tang on the finish.
