Marimar Torres Estate Pinot Noir 2002, Russian River (6)Marimar Torres has done so much work in making this Russian River estate stand out. The fruit and vineyards are now classified as organic and the quality has unsurprisingly increased hugely in quality. The 2002 is showing lovely bottle age and has funky foresty earthy notes but a very pure juicy pinot fruit palate. If you match this wine with a bit of well hung fillet with truffle sauce, you could well end up in 7th heaven!!
