I'Ecuyer 2004, PomerolSweet soft and oh so fragrant, with hints of chocolate orange and citrus zest on the nose and rich round strawberry, chocolate and raspberry fruit on the palate. Hints of earthiness and forest floor and a very soft supple palate make this almost Pinot Noir like in elegance. Lovely caramelized cassis and plum ripeness on the finish that almost all 2004s have - seemingly from the vintage and not the oak treatment!
