Tomas Cusine Geol 2005, Costers del SegreFrom the family that brought you Castell del Remei in Costers del Segre. Tomas, the son has gone off to do his own venture and produces 2 amazing wines, the Vilosell and the Geol. While the Vilosell blend is more Catalonian in feel than the superb Merlot / Cab Geol blend, all Cusine's wines have lovely earthy raisoned, plummy black fruit on the palate. Warm and sun baked but with the fresh acidity typical of wines from this region. Very characterful wines that go well with any tapas.
