Haut Cotes de Nuit Bourgogne 2005, Domaine Jaffelin (6)A suave soft black berry fruited Pinot Noir from one of the greatest vintages in Burgundy since 1990. The concentration and depth on this entry level Bourgogne from Jaffelin is admirable! More so at this price! The fruit is dark and slightly broody and is balanced by beautifully fresh natural acids. Soft tannins leave a very pure elegant finish.
