Krohn Colheita Port 1976 (1)Wiese & Krohn were established in 1865 by two Norweigians, Theodore Wiese and Dankert Krohn, who had come to trade in cod fish. The Carneiro family became shareholders in 1952. In the past, the family simply made a few hundred cases for their own cellar and focused it's commercial attention on fine tawnies and other Ports. Today there is a growing demand for the firm's Vintages as the companies reputation grows. Wiese & Krohn vintage Colheita tawnies are very rich and sweet with round tannins and a lingering finish and the '57 and '63 are great examples.
