Andrea di Pec Pinot Grigio 2006, Venezia GiuliaThe ProducerAn outstanding producer of Pinot Grigio from North East Italy. So often, this varietal is vinified in too much of a bulk method and the resulting wines lose elegance, finesse and delicacy. Di Pec remains one of our most popular white Italian wines and has become respected for is consistancy, vintage after vintage. Superb summer drinking.The WinePinot Gris is famous in Alsace, France, for its noble white wines. But the Pinot Grigio pub wine image in the UK has managed to tarnish the Italian interpretation on the quality stakes. But the Andrea di Pec is one of Handford Wine’s oldest products. Consistently seamless and soft, clean, minerally, juicy and refreshing. Lovely dry citrus and peach blossom on the nose and a touch of minerality on the finish. A wonderfully easy drinking dry white that is suitable for absolutely any occasion.
