Description
This Boal is from Vinha da Torre, a very special vineyard, as the grapes produced there belonged to Mr. João dos Reis (friend of Barbeito family). Nowadays the vineyard is cultivated by his sons. Since 2002, Barbeito has continuously harvested in that vineyard located in Campanario, parish traditionally considered as the one where the Boal grape has been produced for the longest time in Madeira. A tribute to João dos Reis and his family, as well as to the friendship with the Barbeito Family, which grows stronger every year.
