Château de Lavernette was founded in 1596 and today makes Pouilly-Fuissé and Beaujolais from their estate vineyards that drape the hillsides next to the winery. This organic and biodynamic domain rests at the crossroads of the Mâconnais and Beaujolais wine regions between the villages of Leynes, Chânes and Chaintré.

A delicious wine with intense aromas of blackberry, violets, tobacco, cedar and spice… with just an air of strawberry coulis. On the mouth, juicy blackberries, cherry, black pepper and liquorice dance on the palate. Smooth on the tongue, this has a full body and well-balanced finish sheathed in black satin tannins. This is a charming wine with a divine structure and a couple of years in the bottle has just made it joy in a glass.
