100% Albarino. Pedreira is a single plot of thin granitic soil surrounded by a wall and is south west facing. It is 30mtr above the sea line, and 1km from the shore. In 2018 the addition of two further plots from the same village and terroir were added, hence the dropping of Finca from the estate name. The fruit is hand harvested and pressed in a pneuamtic press very gently, with the must being settled for 24 hours in tank, racked and fermented in small stinaless steel and 40% old oak 600ltr barrels. It does not under go MLF. The wine is bottled to preserve freshness in early Spring. The wine produced from this terroir is racy, lime infused and mineral to start, revealing its concentration and lighter peachy saline notes as it ages a few months. It is a classic example of this terroir and as such one of the most sought after expressions in the region.
