Description
Bodegas Manzanos has the 4th largest vineyard holding in Rioja with over 250ha. Based in Rioja Oriental, the Manzanos team boasts one of the youngest teams demographically with a focus on making wines for the younger consumer.
A blend of Viura 51% and Chardonnay 49%, 6 months of oak ageing where 50% of the wine is new. The palate is opulent and filled with banana, grapefruit and carrot whilst oak scents the nose with vanilla and baking spice. There is a cheesy strain to this which makes it all the more gastronomic with a salty finish.
