Description
6 bottle pack.
After many years living in the shadow of the more famous Chardonnay, Aligoté, Burgundy's 'other' white grape, is starting to really make a name for itself. It can be hard to find, but is well worth seeking out if you like easy drinking wines with lean, minerally flavours of citrus and green apple. It's also the traditional wine to use if you want to get the crème de cassis out and make yourself a proper glass of Kir.
We've found three very different Aligotés from some of the best growers around. This pack will give you a real insight into the recent surge of interest in Aligoté – wines with a crisp, fresh, floral, citrus zing. Perfect for making the most of summer.
You'll get two bottles each of:
