Description
A recent creation from Emeric Petit using a range of amphorae to ferment and age the wine, with no added sulphur, before resting in barrel for a few months more. C315 is the map reference of Tournefeuille and Ouest somehow refers to the balanced, ethereal and tempered style. Tournefeuille (turn leaf) refers to the action of the breeze that passes gently down the gulley of the Barbanne, a small river that forms the boundary of Pomerol. The emphasis is on bright and well integrated acidity whilst retaining that classic Merlot flesh and weight. An outstanding vintage and, with this style of wine making, drinking well from now and for a decade more.
