Description
The 2019 has a deep garnet-purple colour and in common with many of the beautifully perfumed 2019 Margaux reds, this vintage comes waltzing out of the glass with alluring notes of stewed red cherries, red plums and freshly baked ginger biscuits. Wonderful spice box scents mingle with wafts of incense, unsmoked cigars, graphite and freshly cut straw. Medium-bodied, rich, plush and seductive in the mouth, it has quite precise, linear, polished marble tannins, finishing with an impressively long, pure, spicy black fruited elegance. Drink from 2022 to 2035+.
