I really like the sweet and juicy pear aromatics emanating from this bold white, which furthermore exhibits fine salinity to balance the opulent aromas and palate. In addition to pear, you get yellow juicy and tangy peach, and the 40% new oak is integrating with just enough oak derived notes to make it interesting (and not obstructive). The wine has the acidity and the dry extract to mature for several years. And here an example where the 2023 easily tops the leaner 2021, which I had also tasted the month before. 94 points Decanter
