Description
The 2016 Château Haut Breton Larigaudière red has an elegant, rather floral, exotic bouquet that is clean, ultra pure, beautifully perfumed and packed full of personality and classic Margaux terroir expression. The palate is focused and linear with piercing intensity, saline cassis salinity and lush blackberry and sundried raspberry fruits, nicely integrated bruleed oak and a well-defined finish. A beautifully satisfying Margaux wine made in the true spirit of the appellation. 93/100 Greg Sherwood MW
Beautiful and linear Bordeaux with currants, fresh herbs and hints of earth. Medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a long and flavourful finish. Very tight still but impressive. Try in 2020. 92/100 James Suckling
