77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot
Profound, red purple with some blackness. Almost completely closed but for a delicate hint of cassis. But there is huge depth and mouth-fill with some harder and some ripe tannins. Indeed the diversity of tannins generates complexity in itself, never mind the cedar, spice, cigar box and cassis fruit flavours. Raw now, but raring to go. 2014 to 2028.
