72% CS, 20%M, 8% CF. Deep black, purple. Mid intense nose of spiced plum, vanilla, clean oak, cherry pie, hints of cassis. Huge core of ripe, cassis fruit. This is just what I expected of the 2005 vintage. Memories of 1982 but with more mineral, herb and spice complexity. Ripe, long and fat. Tremendous. 2015 to 2027+
