A beautiful vineyard with a few pre-phylloxera vines, a collection of ancient Bordeaux varieties and spectacular limestone caves with vine roots hanging from the ceiling. Rich mulberry, salty currant and wafts of vanilla pod this is a wine of great intensity but with a nervy twist of graphite and fine acidity. Baladoz remains a lush yet refined style of its own. This will drink well in its youth and for at least ten more years. 2024 to 2034
