The 2019 Clos des Papes Blanc exudes, according to Vincent, aromas of pear and grapefruit with hints of aniseed and white flowers. On the palate it has a mineral character and a freshness, which points to its potential to age, along with a mouth-watering salinity. Vincent suggests this would be a good accompaniment with fish, poultry, shellfish or lobster as well as certain cheeses.
