Description
The 2020 Clos des Papes Blanc presents aromas of pear, grapefruit, anise and also has a floral side. In the mouth, there is a mineral character and a lot of freshness, which bodes well for ageing and, as we often find, a certain salinity. It would go very well with fish, poultry, scallops or lobster, but also certain cheeses. It is comparable to the 2019 but with a little less power and greater finesse.
