Description
More substantial, with incredible purity of fruit, the 2012 Cote Rotie La Landonne gives up brilliant aromas and flavors of violets, wild flowers, smoked bacon, toast and chocolaty, black raspberry-styled fruit. Medium to full-bodied, with building, fine tannin, there’s some creaminess to the texture, and its polished, seamless profile will be hard to resist on release. Nevertheless, given its overall balance, depth and concentration, it should evolve gracefully for 15-20 years. 92-94/100 RP
