Julien is a French winemaker who started his career at Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe in Chateauneuf du Pape, but has also worked at Bouchard Finlayson and Newton Johnson in South Africa. Julien must be one of the hardest working men in wine producing wines in two continents since his mid-twenties.
He produces some critically acclaimed Grand Cru Riesling in Alsace. At Handford we have been big fans of his exceptional and incredibly well assembled Chardonnay’s that come from cool, high altitude vines in the fashionable region of South Africa's Elgin.
