If Mates vineyard is the Corton Charlemagne of NZ then this is the Puligny. Cutting, lime pith and mineral notes that wrap neatly around a bag of ripe, stone fruit with exotic notes. Perhaps the wine of the range that most needs ageing for 5 to 10 years. Outstanding.
