Tucked away in the hills above Carcassone, and within the Minervois appellation, Saint Jacques d'Albas is a beautiful environment. Home to wild birds, animals, woodland with truffles and many indiginous wild flowers and herbs, the estate is run in accordance with the Cousinie Protocol. This focuses on improving the long-term health of the vines by giving them the soil and natural nutrients they require. This reinforces natural resistance to pests and disease, as well as environmental stress.The result is less intervention, more yield stability and improved grape quality.
