The Morey-Saint-Denis les Blanchards has a rounded, quite sensual bouquet with mulberry and fig jam scents gently unfolding on the nose. The palate is well balanced with crisp, quite tensile tannins and plenty of energy filtering through on the finish. Excellent.

Hubert Lignier, helped by his son Laurent, make 24 wines from their 9 ha. They aspire to make authentic and sensual wines
that express their own terroir.
With the great Hubert in semi retirement, Laurent's influence can be felt in the move towards organic viticulture and a reduced use of oak.
Organic principles in the vineyard and minimal intervention n the winery. No racking after malolactic fermentation, no fining or filtering.
