Description
The idea behind this wine is to place merlot in the limelight. The grapes are sourced from a one-acre block of Merlot. As it often plays a supporting role in our blends, providing nice richness and roundness in the mid-palate. Thinking of Merlot as noble in it’s own right, this is a exploration into the age- ability of high altitude Merlot. The wine exhibits voluptuous notes of plum, black cherry and cedar which are complemented by notes of violet candies, mulberry, black olive and orange rind.
